Sterling silver & 4mm Blue Goldstone beaded bracelet with lobster clasp in a gift box

Sterling silver and Blue Goldstone beaded bracelet, which will arrive nicely presented in a gift box. It has a sterling silver lobster clasp.

Blue Goldstone is actually glass created at very high temperatures and mixed with copper or other metallic materials, such as chromium oxide, cobalt, or manganese.

Called the stone of ambition, Goldstone is thought to assist in attaining goals. Some consider Goldstone to be a symbol of ingenuity, ambition, and drive.
It is believed to reduce tension, revitalize the wearer and encourage a positive attitude.  

Blue Goldstone is associated with the zodiac sign of Sagittarius.

The beading wire used is Beadalon 49 Strand.

If you want to check your own wrist size before ordering:

Decide where you would normally like a bracelet to sit

To take the measurement, use a measuring tape or length of thread/wool. Wrap it round to fit, but not tight. That will give you your wrist size

Then, increase the wrist measurement in the following increments to determine the bracelet size you require to be made, depending on how you want the bracelet to fit:

Add ¼ to ½ inch for a snug fit
Add ¾ to 1 inch for a comfortable fit
Add about 1 ¼ inch for a loose fit

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
