Glass enamelled copper - Shop
livepages::jquery();?>These glass enamelled copper pendants have been handcrafted by myself in Wiltshire. The pendants come on an 18 inch leather cord with silver plated findings and lobster clasp, which I have also made.
Enamelled copper jewellery involves applying powdered, coloured glass (enamel), which is lead-free, to copper pieces, and then firing them in a kiln at 800° C multiple times to fuse the glass to the copper. 1 layer is fused to the back and 3 layers are fused to the front, with a firing required between each layer. This creates a durable, colourful design.
