With a stand handcrafted orange brown black white fused glass heart - 5 cm (+/-) (#431)

Handcrafted in Wiltshire by myself, these vibrant heart-shaped pieces are made from COE90 bullseye glass. The glass for this style of heart has been fired twice in a kiln.

The first firing process needs a temperature of up to 1,500°F to fuse 6 layers of glass together permanently. This first firing, including cooling, takes 18 hours approximately .

The glass is then fired again at a temperature of up to 1,500°F to gently shape it. This second firing, including cooling, takes a further 20 hours approximately.

Therefore, it is a long process to make these, but definitely worth it.

The fused glass heart comes with a separate small acrylic stand so it can stand on a windowsill or shelf, or simply sit flat as it has a flat back.

The fused glass heart is 5 cm (+/-). I have a wide range of colours and designs available.

The fused glass design has been kiln fused, so the colours will never fade.

Perfect as a one-off/unique piece as a thoughtful little gift to someone. No two are the same.
