Handcrafted pale purple / mauve / lavender speckled with gold leaf fused glass disc/coin stud earrings with surgical steel posts/backs, in a gift box

Made by a lovely glass maker in Scotland, these earrings have been made from a clear glass base with crushed furnace glass and 24 carat gold leaf for a unique mottled effect, with surgical steel posts and butterfly backs.

The glass has been shaped freehand, so the earrings are not identical, but are similar enough to be a pair.

Due to the nature of the glass, no two pieces are ever quite the same so you can be sure you're wearing something special.

Surgical Steel is hypo-allergenic. The steel backs are fused into the glass while it is still hot, so no glue is needed.

These earrings are 13mm in width.

They have been annealed in the kiln to remove all thermal stresses, so they are durable. However, please be mindful that they are still glass, so they should still be treated with care.

The earrings will arrive nicely presented in a gift box.
