Champagne coloured satin finish with silvered ivory stringer handcrafted artisan lampwork glass sterling silver drop earrings on 'V' wires (#226)

These champagne coloured artisan lampwork glass beads, which have been etched to give a satin finish, and decorated with silvered ivory stringer, have been handcrafted by a glassmaker in the UK. I then use these handcrafted glass beads to make into drop/dangle earrings using sterling silver findings and wires throughout.

Due to the nature of the handcrafted glass, no two pieces are ever quite the same so you can be sure you're wearing something special.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
