Genuine Murano glass pendant, made with sterling silver findings throughout. Eye-catching piece. The pendant can be bought on its own or with a 16" or 18" belcher/rolo chain or snake chain.

These Murano beads are handmade on the island of Murano, within the venetian lagoon in Italy. The glass makers here are regarded worldwide as masters of their craft.

Not all Murano glass, but a lot of Murano glass is lined with 24k yellow gold, white gold or sterling silver foil/leaf, which adds to the beauty of the glass.

Due to the nature of the glass, no two pieces are ever quite the same so you can be sure you're wearing something special.

The pendant/necklace will arrive nicely presented in a gift box.

The Murano glass beads and sterling silver findings have been bought from trusted, reputable suppliers in the UK, and the pendants have then been made by myself.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These 925 sterling silver items have not been Rhodium plated and therefore will need to be regularly polished to retain the shiny lustre as tarnishing will naturally occur and cannot be avoided.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
