Sterling silver 15x18mm (+/-) oval Snowflake Obsidian semi-precious stone pendant, with optional chain or leather cord, in a gift box

This item can be bought as a pendant only, or with a sterling silver 16" or 18" belcher or curb chain or a 16" or 18" black leather cord with silver plated findings and lobster clasp. The pendant or necklace will arrive nicely presented in a gift box.

The pendant is made with sterling silver findings.

As the stone is naturally formed and not man-made the stones vary in colour and markings and are not identical. Nature isn't a perfect manufacturer, which is what makes it special. Many natural stones have minor inclusions in them, which is perfectly normal and do not make the beads defective.

This photo shows a representation of what you will receive in style and stone, although perhaps not the actual pendant shown. I attach a photo of the stones I have available for making these pendants.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
